We provide linen and uniform rental services to restaurants, hotels, foodservice companies, country clubs and banquet facilities. Located in Haverhill, MA, we have a 40,000 square foot facility that employs over 100 people. We offer extremely competitive compensation and benefit packages, consistent with other leading companies in our industry.Job Duties are as follows:---Perform & repair production equipment while adhering and enforcing all company safety policies.---Maintains production and quality by ensuring operation of machinery and mechanical equipment.--- Locates sources of problems by observing mechanical devices in operation; listening for problems and using testing instruments.---Provides mechanical maintenance information by answering questions and requests.---Maintains continuity among work teams by documenting and communicating actions, irregularities, and continuing needs---Maintains safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.---Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.Skills/Qualification:---Any experience in Maintenance Mechanic in the Laundry or equivalent in the production and/or manufacturing field is plus.---Candidate must have good work ethics and motivation to learn.---Equipment Maintenance, Technical Understanding, Technical Zeal, Basic Safety, Attention to Detail, Flexibility, Supervision, Job Knowledge,The Benefits of working at Metropolitan Linen:---Great place to learn while getting paid to work.---Company will sponsor and pay for licenses and certificates.
