Benefits Include:-- Generous PTO-- Medical Benefits - variety of robust plans to select from-- Dental Benefits - PPO and DMO options available-- Vision Benefits -- Flexible Spending Accounts (FSA)-- Employee Assistance Program (EAP)-- Supplemental Medical Benefits & Additional Ancillary Benefits-- 401(K)-- Pet Discount Plan Duties and Responsibilities: Assessing clients using the standardized or evidence-based assessment tools and diagnosing clients for substance disorders using the DSM 5 Obtaining previous records that are relevant to the current treatment episode Collaborating with the client in order to develop a written treatment plan that is client-centered and recovery oriented and includes goals and measurable objectives Providing the substance abuse counseling services specified in the client treatment plan Reviewing clients throughout the treatment episode according to ASAM PPC-2R, to determine the need for continued services or discharge/transfer Reviewing and, where necessary, revising the substance abuse counseling portion of the client treatment plan to address emerging problems Developing the client discharge/transfer plans to ensure movement to the appropriate levels of care Contacting referral sources, providing case consultation and coordination with referral sources (for example: mental health treatment providers, criminal justice agencies, schools, employers, the Youth and Family Services) Participating as a member of a multidisciplinary team for assigned clients Providing active case consultation Documenting all counseling and education services, assessments, reassessments, referrals and follow-up in the client's clinical record, providing appropriate signatures and dating of such entries, including those made in electronic records Acts as first point of contact for clients, counselors, and office staff when the Clinical Director is unavailable. Positively promotes the Delphi Behavioral Health network of facilities to prospective clients and employees. Performs other duties as assigned Upholds organizational mission, values and vision and supports the integrated process of care while exhibiting integrity and ethics in all endeavors Knowledge of substance use disorders, co-occurring disorders and associated co-morbidities Knowledge of substances commonly used in addition to their bio psychosocial impact Knowledge of the 12-Step Recovery program and process Knowledge of all applicable Federal, State and Regional regulations, including Accreditation standards that govern treatment of Substance Use Disorders including confidentiality, patient rights, ethics and discrimination Delphi Behavioral Health Group is an equal opportunity employer. Requirements: Requirements:A Master's Degree and one year or more experience counseling clients with substance use / mental health disorders. Broad knowledge and experience in working with diverse client populations who have Substance Use and Mental Health disorders. Experienced in assessing Substance Use and Mental Health Disorders and providing individual counseling and recovery based groups in an inpatient unit. Ability to develop and conduct educational trainings on SU/MH and/or CODKnowledge of addiction and evidence based practices for assessment/treatment including but not limited to: Motivational interviewing, Stages of Change, Cognitive Behavioral Treatment, and Mutual-help meetings, DBT. An understanding of trauma and its relationship with Substance Use and Mental Health Disorders. Knowledge and understanding of Cultural diversity in implementation of substance use and mental health treatment programsAbility to work independently and demonstrate creativity in promoting and advancing program initiatives.Ability to demonstrate empathy and respect for all clients and to integrate client's strengths, goals and aspirations in treatment planning.Demonstrates skill in report writing and documentation.Demonstrates knowledge of professional and ethical standards.Ability to develop, implement and evaluate treatment programs.Ability to work nights and weekendsEnsures compliance with 42 CFR Part 2 (Federal Confidentiality Regulations) and 45 CFR, Parts 160 & 164 (HIPAA)PI201331857
