NOTE: A temporary travel allowance is available to help offset travels costs for those commuting from the Haverhill area to Chelmsford until the facility move is complete. Working as a member of the Cryogenics Accessories team in support of our fast-paced and dynamic manufacturing operations, you will focus on welding and fabrication of fixtures, pump cavities and other devices. Working from assembly drawings and other documentation to identify required components, you will visually inspect piece parts before assembly, weld components using a variety of welding fixtures. Two or more years--- experience with GTAW/TIG welding is needed as is the ability to read assembly drawings. Familiarity with orbital welding, use of welding lathe, weld joint cleaning and Tungsten grinding strongly desired. ASME standard certification is preferred; training by an ASME certified welder with an expectation of certification within a reasonable period of time is needed. Must possess an ability to work well independently and in a team environment. Must be comfortable with computer usage, experience with Oracle ERP is a plus.
