Job Description:
Primary DutiesPlan and conduct program activities that meet
goals of each session and follow EEC and Youth EmpowerHouse
guidelines.Deliver programming to children at site and off-site
locations.Effectively direct children in informal education, social
and recreation activities.Maintain open lines of communication and
cooperation with supervisor and peers.Other periodic tasks as
directed by supervisor.QualificationsMinimum of a high school
diplomaMUST HAVE A MINIMUM OF SIX MONTHS EXPERIENCE WORKING WITH
CHILDREN IN AN AFTER SCHOOL, CAMP OR SCHOOL SETTINGAbility to be
flexibleDemonstrated ability to serve as a role model for
childrenMust be able to pass a CORI, SORI and DCF background
checkEmployment Type: Temp/SeasonalYears Experience: Less than 1
yearSalary: $15 - $17 HourlyBonus/Commission: No
