Location We are seeking an Ultrasound Technologist to work in our Haverhill Cardiology office (1 Park Way) on Fridays from 8:00am-4:30pm. General Overview The Cardiac Ultrasound Technologist performs ultrasound examinations for the cerebral, peripheral, and abdominal vessels to assist the physician in the diagnosis of disorders affecting circulation. Responsibilities Perform ultrasonic diagnostic procedures as directed by physicians. Explain procedures to assure cooperation and optimum test results. Conduct scanning procedures using ultrasound equipment. Record and maintain test data and prepare preliminary interpretations of test results. Maintain ultrasound equipment. Monitor ultrasound supplies. Maintain clean work area. Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications Qualifications Education : High School diploma or GED. Successful completion of the national exam given by the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS). Licensure : Current registration as a Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT) through the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers.
