NFI Massachusetts Inc., a private non-profit human service organization, is currently seeking a Bilingual Mental Health Clinician for it's Outpatient Clinic located in Haverhill MA. Se requiere biling--e (espa--ol e ingl--s).The ideal candidate for the Mental Health Clinician must be bilingual and have experience working with individuals throughout the lifespan diagnosed with mental health and/or substance use issues. Bilingual (Spanish and English) required.The mission of the Ambulatory Services Clinic is to provide the highest quality mental health and substance use treatment and prevention to our consumers. We accomplish this by serving all with dignity and respect in an environment that supports individuals and families in their personal development.Services include:

  • Individual mental health and substance use treatment.
  • Group mental health and substance use treatment.
  • Couples treatment.
  • Family treatment.Job Responsibilities:
    • Completion of intake and assessments to determine appropriate level of care.
    • Collaboration with collaterals, family, and other natural supports.
    • Completion of individual treatment plan.
    • Ability to develop and facilitate group treatment.
    • Ongoing individual, family, and couples counseling.
    • Crisis intervention and support as needed.
    • Harm reduction and recovery/safety planning as needed.
    • Referrals to outside communication resources.
    • Insurance authorizations and extensions as needed.Job Requirements:
      • A Master's degree in social work or counseling that is license-eligible (LMHC, LMFT, LCSW, LICSW).
      • A license to independently practice is preferred.
      • Previous experience working with children and adolescents required.
      • Experience working with individuals diagnosed with substance use disorder preferred.
      • Excellent interpersonal, organizational and writing skills.
      • Knowledge of or training in trauma-informed care.
      • Some familiarity with third party reimbursement.
      • Flexible schedule as some evenings and/or Saturdays required.
      • Bilingual capacity (Spanish and English) required.Benefits for full time employees include: Medical Insurance, Dental Insurance, Vision Insurance, Retirement Plan, 3 weeks paid vacation time and Tuition reimbursement up to $2500 per fiscal year.
