fosters individual gifts and abilities. Covenant Christian Academy
is seeking a qualified, Information Technology (IT) Manager to
oversee the operation, maintenance, and strategic development of
the school’s technology systems and infrastructure. The IT Manager
oversees all technology systems and infrastructure for our
Apple-based PreK–12 school, providing both strategic leadership and
hands-on management of our fully Mac environment. This role ensures
reliable, secure, and effective technology that supports CCA’s
academic and administrative functions—including network
performance, device management, vendor oversight, classroom
technology, and user support. This position is structured as a
32-hour-per-week role, with occasional additional hours as needed
to support key school events and technology projects. The ideal
candidate will demonstrate technical excellence, a heart for
service, and a mature Christian faith that shapes their leadership
and daily work. Key Responsibilities Oversee all information
technology systems, including servers, network switches, firewalls,
access points, phone systems, photocopiers, and security equipment.
Provide timely, professional help desk support to faculty, staff,
and students of all technology levels for device, network, and
software issues. Plan and implement system upgrades, enhancements,
and replacements for both hardware and software. Maintain an
up-to-date inventory of all technology equipment, devices, and
licenses. Ensure proper configuration and reliable operation of
computers, printers, copiers, projectors, and SMART Boards across
campus. Manage Google Workspace, Apple School Manager, Jamf Pro
MDM, and other cloud-based systems, including user account setup,
permissions, and access. Maintain system documentation, network
maps, and administrative credentials. Ensure data integrity, secure
storage, and reliable backup of all sensitive information. Maintain
network and data security through firewalls, threat detection, and
endpoint protection. Develop and test backup and disaster recovery
procedures regularly. Establish and enforce IT policies for
acceptable use, password standards, and data retention. Manage IT
budgets, vendor contracts, and technology purchasing. Model
Christian character and excellence in all interactions as a
representative of Covenant Christian Academy. Qualifications A
mature Christian faith and willingness to sign Covenant’s Statement
of Faith and Core Values. Commitment to model Christian character
both on and off campus and to prioritize the mission of the school
in all areas of work. Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology,
Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience).
Minimum 3–5 years of experience in IT management, network
administration, or systems support, preferably in an educational or
nonprofit environment. Strong technical proficiency in network
systems, MacOS environments, and Google Workspace. Demonstrated
knowledge of cybersecurity best practices, firewalls, and data
protection. Experience managing servers, backups, and integrated
hardware systems. Exceptional problem-solving, organizational, and
interpersonal skills. Ability to manage multiple projects and
prioritize effectively in a fast-paced setting.A collaborative,
proactive, and service-oriented approach to teamwork. Salary Range:
$45,000–$55,000 annually (32-hour work week) Compensation is
