Job Description:
As a Registered Nurse in Behavioral Health at HCA Healthcare,
you will join a team dedicated to providing exceptional,
compassionate care to patients suffering from psychiatric or
emotional disorders. This role is pivotal in assessing patient
needs, planning and administering patient care, and integrating
behavioral health treatment with overall patient health. By joining

excellence in healthcare. Conduct patient assessments and develop
individual care plans for psychiatric patients. Administer
medications and monitor responses and adaptations to treatment.
Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive
patient care. Provide emotional support and education to patients
and their families. Document patient care services by charting in
patient and department records. Adhere to infection-control
policies and protocols in all procedures. Strong emotional
resilience and stamina to handle the complexities of behavioral
disorders. Excellent interpersonal communication skills to interact
effectively with patients, families, and colleagues. Ability to
administer therapeutic interventions and medications. Expertise in
crisis intervention techniques. Medical Insurance Dental Insurance
Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Valid RN license in the state
of practice. Certification in Psychiatric Mental Health (RN-BC)
preferred.
