Job Description:

As a Registered Nurse in our Inpatient Surgical Unit, you will join a dynamic team dedicated to surgical care, recovery, and overall patient health. You will assist in managing and monitoring patient conditions post-operation, collaborate with surgeons, and implement care plans tailored to individual patient needs to ensure optimal recovery. Provide direct nursing care in accordance with established policies and procedures of HCA Healthcare. Participate in the preparation, implementation, and evaluation of care plans. Monitor, record, and communicate patient conditions as necessary. Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by healthcare providers. Educate patients and families on post-operative care and lifestyle adjustments. Strong clinical skills in a surgical environment Ability to operate standard surgical care equipment Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Proficiency in EHR (Electronic Health Records) Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Current Registered Nurse license in the state of employment Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification Preferably Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)
