Job Description:
HCA Healthcare is seeking a dedicated and skilled Registered
Nurse for our Post-Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU). As part of a
leading national healthcare services provider, the selected
candidate will play a critical role in post-operative patient care,
ensuring safe recovery from anesthesia and providing critical care
to patients as they regain consciousness. This position requires a
compassionate approach and a high level of specialized nursing
skills to manage complex medical situations. By joining our team,

patients post-surgery for signs of complications from anesthesia.
Administer medications as prescribed and monitor reactions. Assess
patients' pain levels and vital signs regularly. Provide care and
support during the post-anesthesia recovery process. Educate
patients and families on post-procedure care and health management.
Collaborate with the surgical team to discuss and manage patient
care plans. Maintain documentation of patient status and progress
according to standard medical record procedures. Advanced knowledge
of anesthesia recovery protocols. Strong patient assessment skills.
Proficiency in the use of medical software and equipment. Ability
to handle high-stress situations. Excellent communication and
interpersonal skills. Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision
Insurance Life Insurance 401k Current Registered Nurse (RN) license
in the state of practice. Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification.
Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) Certification
preferred. Certified Post Anesthesia Nurse (CPAN) certification is
an asset.
