Surgical Pathology opening near BostonLocated in Burlington, MA - Boston 20mFull-time; PermanentSeeking AP or AP/CP Board CertifiedEmployed Overview: Seeking a full-time Surgical Pathologist to join a collaborative team of sixteen pathologists in Burlington, MA. Sign out general surgical biopsies and resections. Participate in autopsy and frozen section services. Provide pathology services to affiliated hospitals within the system. Active participation in multidisciplinary conferences. Practice within a high-volume, academically engaged pathology department. Department Highlights: 37,000 surgical specimens annually in Burlington. 16,000 surgical specimens annually at affiliated community hospital. Broad subspecialty expertise including breast, GI, liver, renal, dermatopathology, gynecologic, cytopathology, transplant, hematopathology, thoracic, and genitourinary pathology. Academic affiliation with a major medical school. Level I trauma center environment. Position Offers: Base salary range: $337,000-$381,000. Performance-based incentives may be available. Practice located approximately 30 minutes from downtown Boston with access to New England beaches and mountains. Requirements: AP or AP/CP Board Certified in Anatomic Pathology. Eligible for Massachusetts medical license. Fellowship training or subspecialty experience highly valued, including: Genitourinary Pathology, Gynecologic Pathology, Head & Neck Pathology, Endocrine Pathology and Molecular Pathology Strong communication skills and collaborative practice style.
