Job Description:
Join the committed team at Catholic Medical Center as a
Radiology Tech PRN, where you will play a crucial role in providing
outstanding radiological services to our community. As a key member
of our medical services team, you will support diagnostic and
therapeutic procedures while ensuring patient safety and adherence
to protocols. This position requires flexibility to work on an
as-needed basis, accommodating various shifts that include
evenings, weekends, and holidays according to the needs of the
hospital. Operate radiologic equipment to produce images of the
body for diagnostic purposes. Position patients and adjust
equipment for taking X-rays while considering patient comfort and
safety. Follow physicians' orders precisely and conform to safety
regulations to minimize radiation exposure. Enhance the quality and
effectiveness of patient care by providing timely diagnostic
services. Maintain accurate patient records and radiographic logs.
Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare team members to
evaluate image quality and provide comprehensive patient care.
Proficiency in using radiographic equipment safely and effectively.
Strong analytical skills to assess radiographic images. Exceptional
communication and patient-handling skills. Ability to work
independently or as part of a team. Capable of managing multiple
priorities in a high-pressure environment. Medical Insurance Dental
Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Certified and
registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists
(ARRT). Valid state license as a Radiologic Technologist.
