Job Description:
PowerBack Rehabilitation, a leader in post-hospital
rehabilitation services, is seeking a compassionate and dedicated
Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) to join our dynamic team. In this
role, you will work closely with physical therapists to implement
specialized rehabilitation programs designed to help patients
regain their independence following surgery, injury, or illness.
This position requires a commitment to patient-centered care, an
ability to follow therapeutic plans precisely, and a passion for
supporting patient recovery. You will play a crucial role in the
patient's journey, providing hands-on assistance while tracking
progress and adjusting treatments under the supervision of licensed
physical therapists. Assist physical therapists in the
administration of physical therapy treatments and patient
assessments. Execute and monitor therapeutic exercises and
treatments, ensuring alignment with patient care plans. Document
patient responses and progress, providing detailed reports to the
supervising therapist. Educate patients and their families about
post-treatment care and exercises. Maintain therapy equipment,
ensuring hygiene and safety standards are met at all times.
Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to optimize patient
care and rehabilitation strategies. Strong understanding of
physical therapy modalities and techniques Excellent communication
and interpersonal skills Ability to handle physical demands of
patient assistance and equipment management Proficiency in
documenting and reporting treatment outcomes Keen attention to
detail and precision in following therapeutic plans Medical
Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Current state licensure
as a Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) CPR/BLS certification
