Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: Cardiac Stepdown - Discipline: RN - Start Date: 03/04/2026 - Duration: 13 weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, days - Employment Type: Travel Job Details - Position: Registered Nurse (RN) – Stepdown Cardiac - Facility: UMass Memorial Medical Center – University Campus - Unit: Nursing 3 West – RN Tele (1000201400) - Profession: Registered Nurse - Specialty: Stepdown Cardiac / Telemetry - Job Type: Travel Contract - Start Date: March 4, 2026 - Contract Length: 13 weeks - Number of Positions: 1 - Shift: Day – 3×12-Hour - Shift Time: 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM - Scheduling: Self-scheduling - Weekend Coverage: Every third weekend - Float Required: Yes Full Work Location: 55 Lake Ave N Worcester, MA 01655 Responsibilities - Provide direct nursing care in a cardiac stepdown/telemetry unit - Monitor and respond to cardiac telemetry and patient condition changes - Manage cardiac drips (no titration), heparin protocols, and IV therapies - Care for post-cardiac surgery, post-MI, post-cath, and TAVR patients - Administer blood products and manage central lines, PICCs, and chest tubes - Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams including IV therapy, respiratory, and rapid response teams - Document patient care using Epic EMR Requirements - Active Massachusetts RN license (license in hand) - Minimum 1–2 years of cardiac stepdown/telemetry experience - Cardiac Telemetry experience required - BLS required; ACLS preferred - Prior travel experience required - Comfortable floating per unit policy - Teaching hospital and Trauma Level I experience preferred - Flu vaccine required (exemptions allowed); COVID-19 vaccine not required Position Highlights - High-paying cardiac stepdown travel assignment - Day shift schedule (3×12s) - Strong interdisciplinary support teams - Epic charting - Work at a leading academic medical center - Structured floating and orientation K16 About LanceSoft Established in 2000, LanceSoft is a Certified MBE and Woman-Owned organization.
