Position Job Title: Interventional Radiology Tech Profession:
Radiology / Cardiology Specialty: Interventional Radiology
Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 10 hours Experience:
2 years of experience required. License: Valid state license
required. Certifications: ARRT, BLS required. Must-Have: Minimum of
2 years of experience in Interventional Radiology. Travelers do not
include first-time travelers. Experience in performing special
procedures. Description: The role requires skills in Interventional
Radiology and special procedures. Experience with angioplasty and
chest tube placement is essential. Candidates must be familiar with
embolization and gastrostomy tube placements. Knowledge of inferior
vena cava filter placement and mesenteric angiograms is required.
Experience in stent placement and catheter/drain exchange is
expected. Familiarity with procedures such as renal artery stent
placement and ureteral stent placement is necessary. Thrombolysis
and thrombectomy experience is crucial. Candidates must have skills
in using fluoroscopy and maintaining sterile fields. Experience
with central venous access/port placement and dialysis graft
interventions is essential. The candidate should be able to prep
access sites and perform EKG lead placement. Knowledge of vascular
closure systems is required. Experience in working with pediatric,
adult, and geriatric patient populations is preferred. Expedience
with certain specialized equipment is desirable. Requirements
