Central Vermont Medical Center, a proud member of the University of Vermont Health Network, is seeking a dedicated Perinatal LNA II/Technician to join our compassionate team in the maternity ward. Our facility is renowned for its commitment to community wellness and exceptional patient-centered care. This role is pivotal in providing hands-on support to our healthcare professionals during labor, delivery, postpartum, and newborn care. The candidate will work closely with a team of skilled nurses and doctors to enhance patient care and ensure the health and safety of both mother and newborn throughout the perinatal period. Assist nursing staff with clinical duties in the maternity unit. Monitor and record vital signs of mothers and newborns. Help in setting up and preparing delivery rooms. Provide postpartum care and support to new mothers. Assist in the care of newborns following delivery. Educate and support families about newborn care. Ensure all healthcare safety and hygiene standards are met. Strong interpersonal and communication skills Knowledge of maternity, perinatal, and neonatal health practices Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, stressful environment Proficiency in using medical software for patient monitoring Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) in the state of Vermont Additional certification in Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) preferred
