Registered Nurse (RN) | Intensive Care Unit (ICU) / Critical Care Location: Exeter, NH Agency: Mindlance Health Pay: $2,071 per week Shift Information: Days - 3 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 9 Weeks Start Date: ASAP About the Position TravelNurseSource is working with Mindlance Health to find a qualified ICU/Critical Care RN in Exeter, New Hampshire, 03833! ID: 74073388 Shift: 12H Day Description: Contract Guarantee hours= 72 Hours Biweekly on all Assignments these guaranteed hours do not include any on-call time worked Requisition Comments and SURG - NO SEPARATION REQUIRED FROM BILH FROM SUBMISSION - 12/29 START DATE ONLY -WITH HARD END DATE OF 2/28 BILH coversheet required at time of submission. ICU RN needed for Exeter Hospital. 12H days, 7a-7:30p, every third weekend required. Epic experience required. 2 years' experience required. ACLS/BLS-AHA required. 10 bed ICU - Types of Cases / Patients in ICU: Critically ill adult patients: medical emergencies, post?surgical care, respiratory failure, sepsis etc. (the typical mix for community hospital ICUs) since there are intensivists and hospitalists, and the hospital handles specialty services (cardiac, surgery, etc.). Some pediatric critical care: Exeter doesn t have its own full pediatric ICU in many reports; often when children become critically ill, they may need to be transferred to larger tertiary pediatric centers. But the ICU does manage some ill children in certain situations (e.g. early in illness, stabilizing) when pediatric needs are involved. Stroke patients: Exeter has telestroke / tele/neurology services, because they are certified as a Primary Stroke Center. So acute stroke patients may be managed in ICU if needed. 8 week position.
