Registered Nurse (RN) | Medical-Surgical Location: Portsmouth, NH Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $2,015 per week Shift Information: Nights - 3 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 1/12/2026 About the Position TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified Med/Surg RN in Portsmouth, New Hampshire, 03801! Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: Med Surg Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 2 years in a hospital setting License: Active compact license required Certifications: BLS required, IV certification required Must-Have: 2 years of experience in a hospital setting Active compact license at submission BLS certification IV certification Description: 2 years of experience in a hospital setting required. Must have an active compact license. BLS certification is required. Unit specifics include: Number of beds: 36. Patient ratios are 1:6, with occasional 1:7 during surge. Unit staffing includes unit secretary (day shift only) and LNA for both shifts. Type of equipment includes telemetry. Documentation system used is Meditech Expanse. Scheduling requirements are for 3 twelve-hour shifts, every other weekend, and rotating holidays. There is a floating policy to float to the same level of care. Patient experience requirements include bedside shift report, hourly safety rounding, and personal connections. Hiring profile requested skill set includes Med-Surg experience. Advanced skills needed: IV certified. Procedures performed on the unit include CBI, wound care, drain management (chest tubes, Jackson Pratt, etc.), foley insertion, central line dressing changes, telemetry monitoring, and EKGs as needed. Dress code: scrubs (any color). Self-scheduling is available.
