ADEX Healthcare Staffing LLC is seeking a travel nurse RN Telemetry Med Surg for a travel nursing job in Portsmouth, New Hampshire. Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Telemetry Discipline: RN Start Date: 01/19/2026 Duration: 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, days Employment Type: Travel RN Position Job Notes: Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2 years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available. Opportunity: RN - Tele Job Details: • Work 12-hour shifts with scheduling requirements of 3 shifts per week and every other weekend or 4 week shift • Patient ratio of 5:1 with 20-bed unit • Serve on 4RN teams with free charge nurse, 2 LNAs, and a unit clerk • Work on cardiac step-down unit from CSSU and IVCU, med/surg tele, and stroke overflow • Care for patients with chest pain rule out, CHF, COPD cardiac management • Manage patients with chest tubes, hi-flow and Bi-pap, thoracentesis, PD, trachs, pacemakers, cardiac cath, and CIWA • Cannot take patients post cath lab unless radial artery was used • Perform procedures including thoracentesis, PD, trachs, pacemakers, cardiac cath, and CIWA • Use equipment including IV pumps, sara steadys, hi-flow, bipap, and kangaroo pumps • Document using Meditech Expanse system • Participate in bedside shift rounds and handoff • Must be proficient in telemetry monitoring • Required certifications: ACLS, BLS • Professional garb dress code required Facility: This regional medical center is recognized as a STEMI hospital, stroke center, and Level II trauma center, providing comprehensive cardiac and medical care.
