Summary and Qualifications POSITION SUMMARY: Responsible for
planning, implementing, supervising, and evaluating the day-to-day
operations of the cardiovascular clinics. Collaborates with
Diagnostics Coordinator or designee to plan staffing needs, oversee
competency and scope of clinical staff in the cardiovascular
clinics. Demonstrates independence in planning, organizing,
administering, and evaluating patient care. Maintains current
knowledge in area(s) of cardiac diagnostic testing and clinics. KEY
FUNCTIONS: · Oversees the development, growth, and operations of
the Cardiovascular Clinics · Provides patient care, within his or
her scope of practice · Obtains and documents history and
assessments and relevant patient information · Provides direct care
to patients, including administering medications, IV therapy ·
Triages patients to appropriate care, including direct contact and
telephone encounters · Ensures ongoing staff competence with
program-related training and proficiencies · Effectively educates
patients and/or family members about procedures or surgeries ·
Maintains current policies and procedures outlining the indications
and contraindications · Maintain clinical skills by working in the
clinical setting on an ongoing basis · Collaborates with in-patient
nursing regarding patient admission, discharges and follow-up care.
· Communicates plan of care, lab/diagnostic results and other
pertinent information to/from direct care providers as well as all
members of the interdisciplinary team. What qualifications you will
need: - Active NH Registered Nurse license or compact state
Registered Nurse license - Associate Degree in Nursing - Basic
Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment
