Summary and Qualifications The Special Procedures Registered Nurse
is responsible for providing direct care to patients undergoing
treatments and procedures in Endoscopy and the Special Procedures
unit. - You will collect specimens for testing. - You will assist
physician during procedure. You will maintain and stock Special
Procedure area. - You will be a resource for Surgical Scheduling
relative to bookings. - You will provide relevant and complete
documentation on patient related activity. - You will educate
patient and family related to procedure, medications, follow-up
home care. - You will assume responsibility to stay current with
available training and/or literature to ensure quality patient care
in Special Procedures. Qualifications: - A Registered Nurse license
in a compact state as defined by the NH Board of Nursing is
required. - Minimum one year medical/surgical nursing required.
ICU, Special Procedures/Interventional Radiology experience
preferred. - Phlebotomy trained. - Working knowledge of underlying
principles and standards for the following entities: CDC, CMS. -
Ability to work in a fast-paced, high stress work environment.
