Enjoy the vibrant culture, historic charm, and coastal lifestyle of Portsmouth while delivering exceptional cardiovascular patient care./n /n/nCardiac Stepdown RN Job Details/n /n - Location: Portsmouth, NH 03801 (New Hampshire nursing jobs)/n - Assignment Length: 13 weeks (Start: 1/12/2026 – End: 4/13/2026)/n - Healthcare Setting: Cardiac Stepdown / Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR)/n - Shift: 8 Hour Days (6:00 AM – 3:00 PM)/n - Hours per Week: 40/n - Estimated Weekly Pay: $2280 - $2450/n - Employment Type: Travel Nursing Assignment/n - Open Positions: 2 Cardiac Stepdown RN roles/n - Call Requirement: Approx. one weekend per month and 2-3 days per week/n /n/nRegistered Nurse Qualifications/n /n - Active Registered Nurse (RN) license (NH or compact state)/n - At least 1 year of recent experience in Cardiac, Vascular, or Thoracic Operating Room (OR) nursing/n - Ability to respond to on-call requirements within 30 minutes/n - Strong teamwork, flexibility, and punctuality/n - Self-motivated and collaborative healthcare professional/n - Preferred: Scrub experience in Cardiac and Vascular cases/n - Preferred: Experience with Meditech EMR/n /n/nCardiac Stepdown RN Responsibilities/n /n - Deliver high-quality nursing care to patients in Cardiac Stepdown and CVOR units/n - Work collaboratively with RNs, Scrub Techs, and Anesthesia Techs/n - Assist with and scrub for cardiovascular procedures: CABG, valve replacements, TAVR, EVAR, TEVAR, carotid endarterectomy, fistula creation/interventions, VATS, thoracotomy, fem-pop bypass, angiograms with interventions, LVAD, RVAD, and ECMO/n - Support Level 2 trauma coverage for vascular and thoracic procedures/n - Maintain accurate clinical documentation using Meditech EMR/n - Participate in scheduled on-call rotation/n - Comply with unit policies and dress code (scrubs provided)/n /n/n /n Join our healthcare team in Portsmouth, NH, where many nursing professionals have worked together for nearly 20 years.
