Job Opportunity – Registered Nurse, Cardiac Medical Telemetry – New Hampshire Start Date: January 19, 2026 Location: Portsmouth, New Hampshire Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants Schedule: Three 12-hour shifts per week with every other weekend, or four-week rotation options available Highlights: 20-bed cardiac medical telemetry unit with 5:1 patient ratio Cardiac step-down and med/surg telemetry with stroke overflow patients Diverse case mix including CHF, COPD cardiac management, chest tubes, high-flow oxygen, BiPAP, thoracentesis, peritoneal dialysis, trachs, pacemakers, and CIWA protocols Level II Trauma Center, STEMI Hospital, and designated Stroke Center Meditech Expanse documentation system with modern equipment including IV pumps, high-flow devices, and BiPAP Collaborative team structure with 4 RN teams, free Charge Nurse, 2 LNAs, and Unit Clerk support Requirements: Active RN license in New Hampshire or compact state eligibility ACLS and BLS certifications required Proficiency in telemetry monitoring and cardiac care Experience with cardiac step-down or medical telemetry patients preferred Ability to participate in bedside shift rounds and handoff procedures Why It's a Great Opportunity: This position offers the chance to work in a dynamic cardiac telemetry environment where you'll care for a wide variety of cardiac and medical patients using advanced technology and evidence-based protocols.
