TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified Med/Surg RN in Portsmouth, New Hampshire, 03801! Pay Information $2,015 per week About The Position Job Title: Travel RN Med Surg Profession: RN Specialty: Med Surg Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 07:00 - 19:00 Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 2 years in a hospital setting License: Active compact license required Certifications: BLS, IV certification Must-Have: - Med-Surg experience - IV certification Description: Travel RN position available in Med Surg. Two years of experience in a hospital setting is required. Active compact license must be presented. BLS certification is mandatory. Unit has 36 beds with patient ratios of 1:6, occasionally 1:7 during surges. Unit staff includes a unit secretary (day shift only) and LNAs for both shifts. The type of equipment used includes telemetry. The documentation system used is Meditech Expanse. Scheduling requires three 12-hour shifts, every other weekend, and rotating holidays. Floating may occur to the same level of care. Patient experience requirements include bedside shift report, hourly safety rounding, and personal connections. Certifications required include IV certification. Dress code is scrubs of any color. Self-scheduling is available, but leadership reserves the right to balance the schedule.
