Job Description:
The RN Supervisor oversees high-quality, cost-effective patient
care, supporting the Director in planning, evaluating, and
enhancing nursing services. Responsible for supervising daily
nursing operations across assigned areas, ensuring compliance with
quality, safety, and service standards. Participates in developing
and implementing strategic plans to improve operational, clinical,
and financial outcomes. Manages resources effectively, provides
staff feedback, and fosters a positive environment for staff
development and satisfaction. Works collaboratively with other
departments to meet organizational goals and community values.
Requires a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (preferred for Magnet
facilities), 2+ years of clinical experience, and previous
supervisory or healthcare management experience preferred. Must
obtain BLS certification within 2 weeks of hire and hold an active
RN license in the state or compact.
