We're building a team of individuals and individual approaches linked to a common purpose....mental health sustainability for the clients for the rest of their lives!Requirements:A Master's Degree in mental health counseling and one year or more experience counseling clients with substance use / mental health disorders. Broad knowledge and experience in working with diverse client populations who have Substance Use and Mental Health disorders. Experienced in assessing Substance Use and Mental Health Disorders and providing individual counseling and recovery based groups in an inpatient unit. Ability to develop and conduct educational trainings on SU/MH and/or CODKnowledge of addiction and evidence based practices for assessment/treatment including but not limited to: Motivational interviewing, Stages of Change, Cognitive Behavioral Treatment, and Mutual-help meetings, DBT. An understanding of trauma and its relationship with Substance Use and Mental Health Disorders. Knowledge and understanding of Cultural diversity in implementation of substance use and mental health treatment programsAbility to work independently and demonstrate creativity in promoting and advancing program initiatives.Ability to demonstrate empathy and respect for all clients and to integrate client's strengths, goals and aspirations in treatment planning.Demonstrates skill in report writing and documentation.Demonstrates knowledge of professional and ethical standards.Ability to develop, implement and evaluate treatment programs.Ability to work nights and weekendsEnsures compliance with 42 CFR Part 2 (Federal Confidentiality Regulations) and 45 CFR, Parts 160 & 164 (HIPAA)
