Job Description:

IRC is seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Service Manager to join our team. -The Service Manager role is responsible for properly organizing, coordinating and managing employees in our service division. The role is accountable to ensure that project execution expectations regarding safety and quality performance, scope, schedule and cost guidelines are met or exceeded, as are customer expectations. The Service Manager provides direction and oversight for the project through the execution phase with a specific focus towards safety, quality, procurement, cost management, schedule management, work performance and overall progress against the plan while mitigating risk to the Company and our Customer.

The Service Manager role is one of leader and coach. The manager shall develop execution and communication processes that allow for close collaboration with all project stakeholders (internal & external) to ensure an integrated and complete scope of work. The manager will implement standard operating processes and practical field management tools that the project team shall utilize throughout the construction phase to enhance operational effectiveness, productivity and margin performance. Additionally, the manager will provide timely coaching and mentoring to the project team to ensure their personal growth, development, retention and a healthy team environment.

Experience in the construction industry (particularly roofing and siding) and an understanding of the specific safety issues inherent to this industry is preferred but not required. -Significant field work is involved so a flexible schedule is also required.

Description of Responsibilities:
1. - - - - - -Manage day-to-day service crew operations.
2. - - - - - -Ensure customer satisfaction and maintain contact with customers.
3. - - - - - -Schedule and dispatch service crews (including emergency line).
4. - - - - - -Manage service work order for invoicing and accurate data entry of work orders.
5. - - - - - -Ensure quality and safety of the work performed by service crews.
6. - - - - - -Train as needed to develop service crew skills.
7. - - - - - -Review time cards and PTO requests from the service crews.
8. - - - - - -Train new hires to grow the service division.
9. - - - - - -Strengthen customer relations and customer development through service crews.
10. - -Manage ordering and materials for all projects to ensure prompt and accurate approval of invoices/receipts.
11. - -Enforce company policies and procedures to ensure company goals and objectives are met or exceeded.
Required Skills:
Four years of related experience.
Combination of technical, project management experience, supervising safety, financial outcome, customer relationship, contract, and vendor/customer relations.
