Job Description:
Working under the direction of the Manager or Senior Team Lead,
will be responsible for designing and developing sophisticated
training programs on MathWorks software product offerings used by
customers in the aerospace and mechanical engineering domain;
developing complex Simulink tutorials, examples, and web pages that
demonstrate the use of Simulink in conducting analysis, research,
modeling, and simulation for dynamic systems and control systems
(e.g. automobile systems, aerospace systems, robotic systems, and
power systems); developing training on operating systems-level
software, compilers, and network distribution software for various
industries including medical, industrial, military, communications,
aerospace, business, scientific, and general computing
applications; designing and developing interactive, self-paced
online content for Simulink and Simulink-area products; developing
and updating content for self-paced online content and contributing
to the analogous in-classroom training courses; assisting in the
integration of self-paced training with the existing MathWorks web
resources and community; and assisting in maintaining and extending
existing self-paced online infrastructure, including connections to
web product versions. Education and Experience: Masters degree or higher (or foreign education equivalent) in
Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, or Applied Mathematics
and no experience. OR Bachelors degree (or foreign education equivalent) in
Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, or Applied Mathematics
and five (5) years of experience in job offered or five (5) years
of experience in technical training or support for Simulink
technology. Special Requirements: Demonstrated expertise in object-oriented programming in MATLAB;
and in development or technical support of MATLAB and Simulink. Demonstrated expertise developing rich internet content using
HTML, CSS and JavaScript; and writing technical documentation using
markup language -- XML or LaTeX. Demonstrated expertise developing content for instructional
materials and providing technical training on functionality of
MATLAB and Simulink for simulating and modeling dynamic systems and
control systems. Demonstrated expertise delivering stand-up training for
engineering audiences or delivering university classroom
instruction covering mathematical simulation technologies,
including embedded coder, automatic code generation, and
