Landmark Health - Landmark Management Solutions is a New England based owner, operator and management services provider dedicated to the Seniors Housing & Rehabilitative Care Industry with a concentration and specialized resource capacity in the skilled nursing sector.
Landmark is currently looking to add a Staff Accountant to its Finance Department. The successful candidate must be able to multi-task while meeting time sensitive deadlines. The position will report directly to the Accounting Manager and will serve as an important financial resource to the Owner and CFO as well as the Corporate Management and Center Operations Teams.
Staff Accountant Responsibilities Include:

• 
  
• Preparation and close of monthly financial statements, including current and comparative analysis. - Ensures that reporting is accurate and timely.
  
• Prepare and post monthly and year end journal entries
  
• Responsible for reconciliation of bank accounts and related balance sheet accounts
  
• Monitor monthly expenses, investigating and explaining variances to budget
  
• Work closely with Center staff to ensure accurate reporting of revenue, payroll and expenses
  
• Assist with bank compliance audits, external financial audits and other projects as require
  
• Other tasks or duties as assigned
  
  Staff Accountant Qualified Applicants will possess the following qualifications:
  
  • 
    
  • A Bachelors Degree in Finance or Accounting
    
  • 2-4 years related experience
    
  • Proficient in Advanced Excel, Microsoft Office and Word
    
  • Experience with Microsoft Dynamics SL preferred but not required
    
  • Ability to work well independently and in a team environment
    
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
    
  • Strong organization skills
