POSITION: Full-Time Bookkeeper I: Student Accounts Office, One Stop
Enrollment Services, Haverhill Campus; 37.5 hours per week; AFSCME
Unit I Position. This is a temporary, Grant Funded (CARES) Position
through May 11, 2023.

SUMMARY: Student Accounts is open Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and
Friday from 9 am - 5 pm, and Wednesday from 9am-6pm. This position
will work from 9am-5pm, and may be required to work the later shift
on Wednesdays, 10am-6pm, based on the needs of the office, with
This position will report directly to the Student Accounts Manager
and will be required to perform the following:
- Provide outstanding customer service to students, families,
staff and faculty in person, on the phone and by email.
- Perform data entry, filing, and processing for Student Accounts
including scanning and indexing all forms.
- Help students navigate the online payment process, and
understand the items on their student account.
- Review and follow up with students as needed and help perform
the daily functions of Student Financial Services. Performs various
administrative tasks associated with assigned projects for Student
- Assist with refund check reconciliation.
- Assist with the collections process.
- Assist with Student Account Communication plan.
- Provide back up to Student Accounts staff

- Applicants must have at least (A) one year of full-time, or
equivalent part-time, experience in bookkeeping or accounting work,
or (B) any equivalent combination of the required experience and
the substitutions below.
I. A diploma for completion of a program in a recognized,
non-degree granting business or secretarial school above the high
school level with a major in bookkeeping, accounting or business
administration may be substituted for the required experience.*
II. An Associate's or higher degree with a major in accounting,
business administration or business management may be substituted

SALARY: $1,332.39 - $1,752.94 biweekly ($34,642.14 - $45,576.44
annually). Pay grade 9; An appointment from outside the bargaining
unit (AFSCME) must start at Step I of the range. Complete fringe
